Maria Pina Limongelli<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


I am a Structural Engineer and PhD in Seismic Engineering, I am Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano<\/strong>, where I teach at Master courses on Seismic Constructions and PhD courses on Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and damage detection. My research activity is focused on Structural Health Monitoring. In this field I manly contributed to vibration-based damage detection, value of information from SHM for emergency management, and SHM Standardization. I have co-edited a book on Seismic SHM. I am involved in several national and international research projects on topics related to SHM and I have supervised several PhD students on topics related to my research activity. I am active with leading roles in several international committees and associations: WP3 Reporter in JCSS<\/strong>, co-convener of fib TG3.3<\/strong>, ISHMII<\/strong> Council member; consulting member of the ACI SHM group,<\/strong> member of the SHM guidelines group of UNI<\/strong>, vice-leader of the IABSE<\/strong> e-learning board.
