Research activities conducted during his Ph.D. program, co-supervised by Prof. Limongelli, focus on innovative and low-cost vibration-based monitoring strategies for civil structures and infrastructure. He studies power-efficient algorithms and technologies for the dynamic identification of linear and nonlinear systems and their implementation using smart wireless sensor networks.
