Pier Francesco Giordano is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering (DABC) of Politecnico di Milano, Italy. He received his Ph.D. degree from the same department (Cum Laude) in 2021. He graduated Cum Laude in Civil Engineering from University of Bologna in 2016. He received his Master’s in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions (SAHC) from the University of Minho, Portugal, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain. He is currently working on the topics of bridge management, Value of Information from Bayesian decision theory, and Structural Health Monitoring.
