Othmane Lasri graduated in structural civil engineering from the University of Bologna in 2021. In his thesis and research topics, he deals with bridge monitoring techniques that analyze vibrations induced by vehicular traffic to locate and quantify structural damage. He is currently a research fellow at the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering (DABC) of Politecnico di Milano; here, he will deal with the study and application of the new italian guidelines on the classification and risk management of bridges with a focus on remote monitoring techniques using SAR satellites.
